People’s School: A Beacon of Hope for Andra, Fatherless No More

Growing up without a father, Andra Farizki Ramdhani, a 10th-grade student at People’s High School (SRMA 10) in South Jakarta, has not let that hold him back. Raised by his hardworking mother, Andra has found new hope through the People’s School initiative launched by President Prabowo Subianto. Despite financial difficulties, Andra expressed gratitude for the opportunity to receive a proper education through the People’s School.

The People’s School is a boarding school where Andra studies, and while adjusting to dorm life has been challenging, he finds it rewarding to be surrounded by friends and engaging in activities. The school provides complete facilities and a conducive learning environment, allowing students like Andra to stay focused and motivated. Along with his academic pursuits, Andra is active in extracurricular activities and continues to pursue his passion for judo.

Despite the absence of his father, Andra remains ambitious and dream of becoming a judo athlete while pursuing higher education at the Defense University (Unhan). He credits his mother for her unwavering support and dedication, and he hopes to honor her through his achievements. Grateful for the opportunity to study without financial burden, Andra believes that the People’s School offers a chance for underprivileged children to pursue their dreams without obstacles like additional costs or selection processes.

For Andra, the People’s School is a symbol of hope and opportunity. Each day spent in the classroom, on the sports field, or in the dormitory shapes his knowledge, independence, and determination. With his mother’s prayers and strong resolve, Andra believes that his dreams are now within reach.
