Hasjim Djalal, the father of former Deputy Foreign Minister Dino Patti Djalal, passed away at Pondok Indah Hospital on Sunday (12/1/2025). The sad news was shared by Dino Patti Djalal’s office, Executive Secretary of the Foreign Policy Community of Indonesia (FPCI), Mohamad Irfan. Hasjim Djalal, a senior diplomat and advocate of the archipelagic outlook, took his last breath peacefully at 16:40 on Sunday, January 12th. The late Hasjim Djalal will be laid to rest at the funeral home at Jalan Taman Cilandak III Number 2, Cilandak Barat (near MRT Fatmawati) until Monday, January 13, 2025, at 13:00 WIB.
