Two Paskibraka Members from Papua Ready to Make Country Proud

Two high school students from Papua took part in Indonesia’s 80th Independence Day celebrations as members of the Pasukan Pengibar Bendera Pusaka (Paskibraka) at the Merdeka Palace in Jakarta with President Prabowo Subianto. Representing Papua Pegunungan Province, Franciscus Sakfiris Pahabolisage, and Stincek Laramiapa, representing Papua Tengah Province, expressed their pride and excitement. Franciscus expressed his gratitude for the opportunity, as he had never experienced such an event in person before. He highlighted the rigorous selection process and physical challenges he faced during training. Stincek, on the other hand, emphasized her commitment to delivering her best performance and making the country proud. Despite feeling nervous, both students are thrilled to be part of the Paskibraka team and are looking forward to meeting the President on the big day. They emphasized the importance of teamwork, unity, and camaraderie during their training, reflecting the dedication and effort they put into earning this moment.
