Prajurit TNI Gugur Ditembak: Kapuspen Kecam Aksi Biadab OPM

TNI members of Kodim 1715/Yahukimo Serka Seger Mulyana tragically passed away after being brutally attacked by OPM. The incident took place in Jembatan Kali Biru, District Dekai, Yahukimo Regency. The act of violence resulted in severe injuries to Serka Seger Mulyana, with gunshot wounds on the right side of the chest, slash wounds on the neck, chin, left hand, and wrist, as well as stab wounds on the left side of the chest. It was carried out by an armed separatist group affiliated with the Free Papua Movement (OPM) Kodap XVI Yahukimo led by Elkius Kobak. The tragic event unfolded in the morning following an assembly at Makodim 1715/Yahukimo, where Serka Seger went to check on unwell unit members. After attending to matters at RSUD Dekai, where he coordinated the procurement of medication for the members in need of treatment, Serka Seger was ambushed and shot by the armed separatist group while returning to the base alone. The ruthless attack has been condemned as a barbaric act by the military officials.
